Sometimes, when I blog stuff, I might dance with the reader and type something like "insert such-and-such joke here." The idea is to make them think that I trust their wit, and I will not patronize them by choosing one of many obvious quips. However, usually the "insert joke here" line is nothing more than an admission that I've got nothin'.
